ILCSC Announces New Executive Director

Disabled rights activist Norma Jean Vescovo retires after illustrious 45-year career. Christopher Wells is the new Executive Director

Many news outlets carried the news of Norma Jean Vescovo’s retirement from a long and helpful career as an Advocate for the Disabled. She did more than advocate, she started the Independent Living Center in Southern California in 1976 and the rest is history. That history is transitioning as Norma retires and Christopher Wells picks up the baton.
