L.A. City Hall Is Accessible to Persons with Disabilities Due To The Efforts of Activist Norma Jean Vescovo & Mayor Tom Bradley

Prior to 1972, City Hall was not wheelchair accessible. The only way in was through Councilman Tom Bradley’s office. It was not until Activist Norma Jean Vescovo asked Councilman Bradley that if he became Mayor, to make City Hall more accessible.
